Season 1

“You are being watched. The government has a secret system. A machine that spies on you every hour of every day. I know because I built it. I designed the machine to detect acts of terror, but it sees everything.
Violent crimes involving ordinary people. People like you. Crimes the government considered irrelevant. They wouldn’t act, so I decided I would. But I needed a partner. Someone with the skills to intervene. Hunted by the authorities, we work in secret. You will never find us. But victim or perpetrator, if your number’s up, we will find you.”

Season 2

In the third episode of the second season, a new intro lyrics of Person Of Interest was introduced. It was slightly different from the previous one.

“You are being watched. The government has a secret system. A machine that spies on you every hour of every day. I designed the machine to detect acts of terror, but it sees everything. Violent crimes involving ordinary people. The government considers these people irrelevant. We don’t. Hunted by the authorities, we work in secret. You’ll never find us. But victim or perpetrator, if your number’s up, we’ll find you.”

Season 3

The Person Of Interest intro opening was changed again in season 3 and it was slightly similar to the intro from the first season.

“We are being watched.

Season 5

The information is overlaid by both Samaritan and the Machine, instead of it only being Samaritan in season 5.

“You are being watched. The government has a secret system, a system you asked for, to keep you safe. A machine that spies on you every hour of every day. You’ve granted it the power to see everything, to index, order, and control the lives of ordinary people.
The government considers these people irrelevant. We don’t. But to it, you are all irrelevant. Victim or perpetrator, if you stand in its way we’ll find you.”
